I picked up this poem/song from the Internet.
My face book friend said I could post it to my blog with her name added to it for authenticity.
CAS IS KNOCKING
who’s that knocking on my door
oh no my dishes aren’t done
I have laundry on my floor
the kids toys are everywhere
and I haven’t made it to the grocery store
we are from the Children's Aid Society
we need to come in
why do you not have any milk or juice in your fridge
what is all this laundry doing on the floor
who’s that knocking on my door
oh no my dishes aren’t done
I have laundry on the floor
the kids toys are everywhere
and I haven’t made it to the grocery store
we will be back
do not leave this house
no you can’t go get groceries
we are going to take pictures
who’s that knocking on my door
oh no my dishes aren’t done
I have laundry on my floor
the kids toys are everywhere
and I haven’t made it to the grocery store
They are back and the police are here
they want my children
They say they are going to send me to jail
If I don’t have my children brought back here
.
who’s that knocking on my door
oh no my dishes aren’t done
I have laundry on my floor
The kids toys are everywhere
and I haven’t made it to the grocery store
Now my children are gone
Because they say they might suffer emotional or physical harm
They made my children suffer emotional harm
They took my children based on hearsay evidence
who’s that knocking on my door
oh no my dishes aren’t done
threes laundry on my floor
The kids toys are everywhere
and I haven’t made it to the grocery store
I had no lawyer for the court
I was intimidated and mislead
their lawyer said you say yes
the judge asked do you agree to their involvement
who’s that knocking on my door
oh no my dishes aren’t done
threes laundry on the floor
The kids toys are everywhere
and I haven’t made it to the grocery store
Why didn’t the Judge say
Do you agree that your children should have been apprehended
I would have said no
instead of agreeing to their involvement
and my children could have come home
who’s that knocking on my door
oh no my dishes aren’t done
threes laundry on my floor
The kids toys are everywhere
and I haven’t made it to the grocery store
I thought they were going to help me
Now they won’t let me see my children
they don’t want me to know
what happened in that foster home
when all of the children were apprehended from that foster home
who’s that knocking on my door
oh no my dishes aren’t done
threes laundry on my floor
The kids toys are everywhere
and I haven’t made it to the grocery store
